Holidays to the The Broads National Park
Spanning Norfolk and Suffolk, Britain’s largest protected wetland is a sprawling inland waterway with free-flowing rivers meandering through landscapes of lakes, fens and marshes. The Broads are home to waterfowl and wading birds, whilst the coastal edges are a popular stop for migratory birds, making a heaven for bird-watchers and fisherman with or without wings!
The Broads are flooded medieval peat excavations now forming a network of mostly navigable rivers and lakes. The typical Broads’ landscape today includes reed beds, grazing marshes and wet woodland. Visitors can explore ‘Britain’s Magical Waterland’ by sail, motor-boat, canoe, foot or bicycle.
