Holidays to the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park
This national park in Scotland, which begins some 25 miles north of Glasgow, offers a subtle blend of the beauty of lochs and forests and mountains. Within the park there are twenty two large lochs and several ranges of hills, the Trossachs being the most famous. Loch Lomond is the largest freshwater lake in Britain. The wonderful scenery with its wildlife and walking opportunities have long attracted people to this area.
The West Highland Way passes through the park, and the mountains of Ben Lomond attract many hikers. Boat trips on the lochs are a popular activity.
