Visit Arches National Park

The world’s largest concentration of natural stone arches (at least 2,000) can be found within Utah’s Arches National Park, near Moab (190 mi/305 km southeast of Salt Lake City). The area’s geology, combined with wind and water erosion, created these magnificent towering stone arches. A scenic drive runs through the park, and pleasant, easy hiking trails lead to the arches. We recommend walking some of the trails, as you get a much better view of the unusual formations and, in some cases, can climb into the lofty openings in the rock.

Be sure to see the enormous Landscape Arch (in Devil’s Garden). The most famous formation in the park is Delicate Arch—its silhouette can be seen all over the state, on everything from billboards to license plates. Reaching Delicate Arch requires a one-hour, easy-to-moderate hike (be sure to take plenty of water). The park also contains a visitors center, interpretive trails and areas for picnicking, camping, hiking and climbing.

A bite out of the Big Apple

Amazing New York highlights were a Broadway show, Central Park, Empire State building and Time Square. We visited MoMA which was amazing to see all best artwork in the world, we were just not expecting it, every room we went into there was another masterpiece. Our hotel was under a mile from the subway station and we saw how the New Yorkers live and commute.

Humbled by our surroundings

Every turn held more beauty than we expected. We were humbled by the size of the surrounding peaks. The feeling of being in a cathedral never left us as we stopped in deserted spots and just gazed at our surroundings.

So many highlights

Utah was my favourite part. There was so much to do and it was like nothing I’ve seen before. Really liked Capitol Reef as it was much quieter and we were so close to it. Will always remember going star gazing, brilliant.

Amazing Scenery and Wildlife

We saw loads of animals, bison, black and grizzly bear, elk, deer and even wolves in the distance. Waterfalls and lakes were magnificent and the trails that we walked were all so beautiful and well worth visiting.
