[column col=”1/2″] The Electric Bicycle Network has now come to Britain’s highest mountain range, biggest native forests, spectacularly clean rivers and lochs sitting alongside moorland and farmland which provide a stronghold for Britain’s wildlife. Thanks to Natural Scotland, Sustrans and the Cairngorms National Park Authority you can now more easily explore this wonderful landscape and natural scenes on an electric bike. There are 29 hire and charge points to date in the Aviemore and Newtonmore area and the Deeside, Braemar and Tomintoul area. An official launch will be taking place in early July. The network has been designed to enable those who might not otherwise get on a bicycle, to enjoy cycling for leisure supported by the subtle but powerful assist of an electric bicycle.
