- 3 Star hotels. In remote areas such as national parks or small towns, this standard may not exist and accommodation may be more simple and rustic. Hotels will be confirmed with final itineraries.
- Yukon & Alaska Explorer is a recommended self-drive itinerary including accommodation for 13 nights, a full-day wildlife watching tour in Denali National Park, 3-hour guided hike to Matanuska Glacier and a personalised roadbook. Prices do not include car hire.
- ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
- Please note that most national parks charge entrance fees for visitors, so we recommend that you carry sufficient amounts of cash when driving. Driving conditions in the Yukon and Alaska can be more demanding than in the Canadian provinces and other American states. Roads often have unfinished surfaces, and road shoulders are usually made of soft gravel. We recommend booking an all-wheel drive vehicle. Children under 8 are not permitted on this self-drive. This itinerary also operates in reverse.
