Description
The tour focuses on the little-visited Japanese island of Hokkaido, known for its scenery, lakes and mountains. Setting off from the busy city of Sapporo, famous for its breweries, the tour continues to Lake Toya, before turning north to the mountain towns of Furano and Asahikawa. It explores the stunning Daisetsuzan National Park and travels on to Monbetsu in the far north to take a cruise on the Sea of Okhotsk, before returning to Sapporo via the charming coastal fishing port of Otaru. The departure in February includes the famous Sapporo Snow Festival.
