Tailor-made & Package Holidays to Italy

Handpicked Self Drive and Escorted Tour Itineraries

Twenty four national parks cover about 5% of Italy. These parks offer many different kinds of mountain landscape from snowy Alps with their verdant valleys to central Italy’s volcano, Vesuvius, to the drier terrain of the ‘rough mountains’ of Aspromonte in Calabria in Italy’s ‘toe’. Gran Paradiso National Park was the first national park to be created in Italy, and its glacier-sculpted peaks, clear mountain lakes and alpine meadows are home to the ibex. In the Cilento, Vallo di Diano e Alburni National Park mountains meet the sea, and in Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga National Park the southernmost glacier in Europe is to be found.
